For private equity funds
One company first. Then the portfolio, on one method.
Your portfolio companies are signing AI contracts right now. Every proposal assumes the data is fine. Nobody has checked. We test one company’s AI proposal or plan against its own systems, record by record. When that earns its place, the next company is read on the same pillars, rules and caps, so every score is built the same way.
Starts with a 30-minute call. Commits you to nothing.
How five memos line up across a fund. Illustrative example, not a client.
Real sample
See the memo a portfolio company would receive. A full Truth Score Read on 72,837 records in 7 exports from CRM, finance and HR. It scored 59 out of 100, Band C, significant work needed: 823 finance customers with no CRM account, and only 13% of deals reconcile to invoices.

How it starts
Judge us on one memo.
You don’t need a portfolio programme to find out whether this is useful. One company, one decision, one signed memo is enough to decide. You can stop there.
-
Step 1 · One company
A Truth Score Read on one decision
The AI proposal on a portfolio company’s desk, or the AI plays in its value creation plan. Exports from two or more systems, compared record by record, and a signed memo within 5 working days of complete exports.
- Truth Score™, a score out of 100 for how far the data can be trusted
- Leverability read (which AI plays the data can run now, after fixes, or not at all; nothing to do with debt), on the AI in question
- Red flags between systems, and a verdict: sign, fix first or walk away
-
Step 2 · The portfolio
Every company on the same yardstick
The next company is read on the same pillars, rules and caps, so a 64 is built the same way at each company and the investment committee compares like with like, not ten answers on ten definitions.
- Scores built the same way, company to company
- Where a pillar is not assessed, the memo says so
- Comparisons between your own companies, not invented benchmarks
How the fund sees it
The memo goes to the board. Not into a feed.
Every memo is a document addressed to named people, on the same pillars, rules and caps. That is how a fund sees several companies side by side without anyone running surveillance on them. The Truth Score is rule-based: six weighted pillars, bands A to D, and a published cap when Accuracy, Completeness or Connectivity scores below 80.
If the fund commissions it
Addressed to you and the company
The memo names both, and management sees every finding and the records behind it before anything goes to the investment committee.
If management commissions it
Shared as a board paper
The CEO or CFO owns the memo and shares it with the board, investors included, the way they share any board paper.
Across the portfolio
Memos side by side
Because each read uses the same method, the memos line up, as in the view above. You compare documents, not dashboards.
What it never is
A feed or a login
No dashboard on your companies, no live connection and no data flowing to the fund. Exports in, a signed memo out.
Across the deal and the hold
Four points where the data decides the plan.
The same method plugs into decisions you already make, from before signing to before the exit.

A quarterly re-read of the Truth Score and the Leverability read, bought by each company’s own leadership and shared with its board.

04Before the exit
Find it first
A read on the systems the buyer’s diligence will open, so the gaps are found, fixed or explained before the data room opens.
Truth Score ReadBefore the exit
In diligence
The data room sets the rules. We work inside them.
Data diligence runs alongside financial and commercial diligence, from what the seller places in the data room. No logins to the target’s systems, and nothing leaves the data room without the seller’s consent.
-
Data-room exports
Standard exports of CRM, billing, ERP and HR, as the seller provides them. We send the field list for the request.
-
Seller consent first
Customer-level records are used only with the seller’s consent, under NDA and our data processing agreement.
-
Clean-team rules, if the deal needs them
Competitively sensitive records stay with named individuals, and the buyer sees findings, counts and patterns, not customer lists.
-
A scope line on every finding
The memo says what was in the exports, what wasn’t, and what that means for the verdict.
AI Value Tracking
Sold to each company. Not run on it.
Is the data under each AI investment still holding up? Through the hold, AI Value Tracking re-reads each company’s Truth Score and Leverability read every quarter and checks roadmap progress against the plan. It is bought by the company’s own leadership, for them.
-
Who buys it
The company’s leadership
The CEO or CFO commissions it per company, on a fixed quarterly fee, because it tells them whether the data under each AI investment is still holding up.
-
Who owns the result
Management
The quarterly read is theirs. They share it with their board, investors included, the way they share any board paper.
-
What the fund sees
What the board sees
A quarterly board paper per company, not a feed or a login. A service, delivered to the people who run the business.
Why an investment committee can rely on it
Everyone in the room gains if you sign. We gain nothing either way.
Nothing to sell
We sell no AI, no software and no implementation, so we never need the company to buy any.
We never fix
So we never need to find something to fix. The roadmap goes to the company’s own team or any firm it chooses.
No referral fees
In either direction. We take no fees, commissions or margin from anyone, and pay none to introducers.
The fee
Fixed before we start, so a ‘sign’ pays us exactly what a ‘walk away’ does.

Questions
What funds ask first.
What a partner or investment committee asks before a portfolio company sends a single export.
Book the callWho pays: the fund or the company?
Either. A fund can commission the first Truth Score Read, in diligence or on a portfolio company’s AI proposal. AI Value Tracking is always bought by the company’s own leadership. Every fee is fixed and agreed before we start.
Do we have to commit the whole portfolio?
No. Start with one company and one decision, and judge us on one memo. The portfolio comes later, if the first read earns it.
How comparable are scores between companies?
Same pillars, same rules, same caps, so a 64 is built the same way at each company. Where a pillar is not assessed, the memo says so, and you can see when two scores rest on different evidence.
Can you read several companies at once?
We take a limited number of reads at a time, so every red flag is checked by hand. For a portfolio we agree a sequence, one or two companies in parallel, each memo within 5 working days of complete exports.
Do you benchmark our companies against other funds’ companies?
No. We don’t publish benchmarks we don’t have. Comparisons are between companies you’ve had read on the same method.
Does management have to agree?
Yes. The exports come from the company, and management sees every finding and the records behind it. We write the memo for the CEO or CFO as well as for you, because they make the decision and own the fixes.
You’re new. Why should we trust the verdict?
We are new, and we would rather say so. That is why the method is published, including the cap that stops strong pillars hiding a weak one. Every finding points to records you can check yourself, and the scope line says exactly what we didn’t check. You can stop at the memo; nothing obliges you to go further. Our first clients get a founding rate in exchange for a private reference call once they’re happy, only with their consent. We never name a client, fund or target publicly without written consent.
Do you put our data into an AI model?
The Truth Score is rule-based: the same data, scored on the same date, gives the same score, and no AI model decides it. We do use a language model (Anthropic’s Claude, through its commercial API) to read the plan or proposal you send and to help draft the memo’s wording from our findings. A person checks every line before it reaches you. If you’d rather we didn’t use it on your engagement, say so and we do that part by hand.
What happens to our data?
It arrives as exports only, under NDA and our data processing agreement. No logins and nothing installed. The full list of sub-processors comes with our data processing agreement, before any data moves. Any transfer outside the EU is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Raw exports are deleted after the engagement; we keep quality metrics, not your records.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee, agreed before we start, that never moves with the verdict. It is a small fraction of the proposal it tests; if it wouldn’t be, we’ll tell you on the call.
